NATURAL ABSTRACT PHOTOGRAPHY
Like many photographers, the beauty of the natural world was an early attraction from the first time I held a Kodak Brownie as an 8 year old. But as nature photography became a more serious avocation, I grew frustrated trying to find a unique approach that maintained natural beauty but pushed the viewer to "see" beyond the tree or mountain or sunset. I began experimenting with simple digital manipulations, changing perspectives, merging compositions, creating layers of vision that overcome a two-dimensional representation.
