Commissions

Yes, I take commissions! Perhaps you have a specific space, color palette, size and/or general idea for the work(s) you want for your home, office, gift, etc. Or perhaps you have seen a work on my website or in my studio that you particularly like but the size or color palette won’t work. While I won’t create a representational image (your family or pet portrait, a realistic landscape, or a painting “just like that one but bigger”), I will work with you to develop the foundation of an acrylic or mixed media painting that is both consistent with my work and your preferences for content, color, etc.

Conditions for commissioned work

• I will work with you to outline an agreement regarding the size, materials, general subject matter, color palette, etc. View a sample commission agreement here.

• Cost of a commissioned work will be determined by my standard pricing as on my website, based on size and materials, plus 20%. (Larger sizes available, contact me for pricing.)

• A downpayment of 50% total cost will be due at the time we sign the commission agreement, with balance due on delivery. For commissions outside of the Twin Cities metro area, shipping costs will be added to the final price.
